Thank you for all the lovely #barcampjozi that initiated this site and group.

We've defined geeks as people of all fields that have a intense interest in what they are doing.  Especially those in the science, IT, technology and engineering fields.  Think of it this way, if you are the type of person who loves the articles in New Scientist, you'll probably like what we have to offer.

We are starting out with an event calendar and geek jokes (we always need those ;).
